2500bc-14/1300bc A disc barrow with double ditch and at the centre a cremation burial of a young person placed on a layer of carbonised material 0.75m in diameter, with no pit in evidence. Alongside the cremation and at the same level were the skull and jaws of a child cutting its second teeth. Lower down and 0.5m to one side of the cremation was the almost intact skeleton of an infant, contracted, head to WNW, facing ENE, the first teeth only partly cut. Below this was the third skeleton of a child, face to east, very tightly contracted, and lying (as did all the inhumations) on a layer of carbonised material. One cremated fragment showed a green stain possibly owing to contact with bronze, but no grave goods were found.
