2500bc-14/1300bc A ring ditch or disc barrow with inner (larger) and outer banks, a small central mound and a central pit 6/1. This had contained a cremation, weathered fragments of Wessex biconical urn, fire-altered limestone, charcoal, and a used flint flake. The urn may have been inverted, half in the pit, half in the mound, and packed about with stones from the pyre, of which there were an unusual number. It had been disturbed by cultivation.
14/1300bc-8/700bc There was a second pit 6/2 probably outside the outer bank, containing a Bucket urn, cremated remains and charcoal, found by machine stripping of topsoil.
