2500bc-14/1300bc | A large flat grave c75m north west of Barrow 12 (Site 1048), cut through by unaccompanied cremation F951. The bones were completely disarticulated and widely dispersed throughout the pit. Some bones were broken, the back of the skull and lower jaw were fragmentary and widely scattered. The broken remains of a Beaker lay close to the front of the skull which lay face upwards. More of the sherds were scattered in the pit. |
