2500bc-14/1300bc | A small steep sided pit (831) 0.65m x 0.7m x 0.4m deep contained pushed into the south west corner the skeleton of a child c2-4. This was crouched, lying on its right side, head to the south east, but twisted backwards to face south west. The fill of the pit was orange brown silt clay with charcoal flecks, and contained Late Beaker pottery, and domestic debris including animal bone and flint flakes. To the south was pit 832, 0.8m x 0.6m x 0.2m deep with the same orange clay fill containing a sherd of pottery. There appeared to be plough marks among the features at this level on the site.
