3500bc - 2500bc Chambered oval shaped long barrow oriented S, and containing six to eight pairs of cells along a central chamber built from thin slabs of white lias. Some chambers were reported to contain several skulls and other human bones. Some chambers were empty. An articulated skeleton lay immediately inside the porthole entrance oriented NS, while disordered human skeletal material was contained in the inner chambers. Ox thigh bone and a red deer tooth were found in cell C. No ashes, 'weapons' or pottery were reported.
