2500bc-14/1300bc | A conical round barrow covering at the centre a deposit of burnt bones. These had been covered by a small mound of fine soil which was covered in turn by a thick course of flints; over these was a thin layer of both, and above that another but very thin course of flints; and then the main barrow mound of earth. |
