8/700bc-100bc | Inhumation burials believed on evidence of an associated sherd to be 'late Celtic' comprising the contracted skeletons of an adult female and a child. The skulls were 0.3m apart and one or both were covered with large stones, possibly part of a cist structure. The reports on the relative body positions are conflicting, either huddled up together or at right angles to each other. |
