3500bc - 2500bc Two Neolithic shafts and 2 Neolithic pits. Pit 1 was dated by radiocarbon. It was cleared to natural gravel, and had filled naturally. Pit 2 had a similar filling to the upper level of Pit 1, of knapped flints. The two shafts were excavated to 2m and 1.2m and had been refilled with natural organic material. There was no human skeletal material.
