14/1300bc-8/700bc A round barrow with a causewayed ditch facing SE, with a central burnt area as in Barrow B (Site 1344) over which was laid a clay floor c2.5cm thick. Over this layer was piled charcoal, stones and brown soil. 3 stake holes were around the clay patch. Directly above the central barrow area on the causeway-centre axis an upright bucket urn had been buried in a pit while the turf mound was still fresh.

The urnfield comprised several groups of deposits. The first group lay in a small area to the east of the barrow and comprised 10 urns in a space 1.2m square. Three pits contained urned cremations with an accessory vessel. The second group lay to the south west of the barrow and comprised c16 urns, all bar one buried upright in pits and mostly very fragmentary. Only 7 pots contained cremations, and one an accessory vessel. Eleven pits were associated with this group.

In the western sector of the site there were two apparently related groups of urns, predominantly inverted and buried in deep pits. One group of 3 inside the ditch predated the barrow mound, and only one held a cremation. Outside the ditch and typologically associated were 10 urns all with cremations. Three isolated urns were also found, one directly on the axis between the centre of Barrow C and the causeway of the ring ditch.

There were charcoal lined pits c10cm in diameter which may have been post holes connected with the cemetery construction, or cremation supports.

There were 22 urns with cremations including 4 multiple cremations, representing 9 adults, 4 young adults, 7 children and 6 unknown.
