14/1300bc-8/700bc A small round barrow without a ditch, composed of a mound of flinty orange brown soil, and covering a central circular interment pit, probably primary, containing a small heap of human bones of a tall well-built male. Pottery evidence (sherds of Middle to Late Bronze Age were found beneath the barrow) suggests the burial was Later Bronze Age, possibly related to the nearby Itford Hill and Blackpatch settlements.
