14/1300bc-8/700bc A ring ditch (interpreted as belonging to a round barrow) made from 7 or more interlinking pits, backfilled deliberately at a later date. Finds from the ditches included animal bone, waste flint flakes, and a Late Neolithic transverse arrow head. The central burial pit contained cremated bone. There were seven grooved ware pits in the vicinity (F911, 913, 917, 2082,3196, 3197 and 3831) containing flint knapping debris, pottery, animal bone and charcoal. Pit F3196 contained a large number of potsherds representing 5 vessels, 2 of unusual decoration.
