2500bc-14/1300bc A circular pit c0.9m across x 0.6m deep containing 136 flint flakes including cores, 100 sherds of pottery representing at least 6 vessels of B Beaker affinities, 3 fitting Western Neolithic sherds, and one possibly of grooved ware, a small wristguard, a broken whetstone, a pebble or sling stone, a few pieces of burnt clay, and scraps of gravel and charcoal. The wristguard lay higher in the pit, and the pottery was mainly on the north and west side of the pit, and some of the larger pieces at the base.

Cremated bone would have disappeared in the soil at this site, and the excavator considered that the deposits of pottery, flint (including a high percentage of burnt flint) and the wristguard suggested a cremation Beaker burial.
