14/1300bc-8/700bc | A bowl barrow with the primary interment not found. Beneath a circular retaining wall of flints was a subsequent primary or secondary cremation of an infant, with ashes, enclosed in a probably upright barrel shaped urn. The barrow base provided evidence for incineration on the site. A greenstone phallus was found in the excavation, precise location unknown, but presumed in the mound. |
