14/1300bc-8/700bc | An inverted barrel urn was set in a pit cut into the natural chalk, and contained a compact mass of fragmented calcined bone belonging to a mature adult. There was probably a small flint cairn covering the pit, and there may originally have been a barrow over the whole. |
