14/1300bc-8/700bc | A bowl barrow with a primary cremation in a barrel shaped urn with 2 lugs. The mound was of rubbly chalk and the base of the barrow was freely sprinkled with a yellow sand. The sand covered a large flat stone which in turn covered the chalk-cut pit containing the urn. |
