2500bc-14/1300bc Several barrows near stone circle of Merry Maidens. Three produced pots in the 1870s, one of the large biconical type containing human ashes, and of the Early or Middle Bronze Age as that at Tregaseal (Site 6). A crude hand mill was found. The nearby entrance grave of Tregiffian (Site 7) was on the same axial alignment of Dawns Men.
