2500bc-14/1300bc A cave site with one Beaker vessel reported as 'related' to cremated bone of a person c15-20 and two black 'spearheads' (arrow heads?) in the Charcoal Cave. There was another possible Beaker inhumation burial in the Vestibule. 'On the evidence that is available to us all that can be demonstrated is that the cave had at least two Beaker burials and probably several Bronze Age cremations' (Silvester 1987, 22). Small scale domestic use of the cave is considered a strong possibility for the period (second millenium BC).
