2500bc-14/1300bc An oval enclosure 12.6m x 10.5m formed by a wall of small flints, oriented NE/SW. Slightly off-centre to the north east was a small cairn which covered a grave pit 2.8m x 1.3m capped with red clay brought in from the Sid or Otter valleys. The pit contained 6 flint flakes and a fossil sea urchin but no bone in what was acid soil. It had from its size probably contained inhumations. Its fill was redeposited upcast from its digging.

The ring was 1.8m wide at the base, and the peat turf had been stripped before it was set down. 13 small pits were found, 10 inside the ring, 2 under the ring and 1 outside. Their fills comprised small flints, mixed with sticky bright grey clay and not backfill. Pit 3 was the largest and ante-dated the grave pit.

Possible parallel with Burnt Common (Site 259) but no charcoal or pottery was found at White Cross.
