3500bc - 2500bc | A long barrow oriented NE with a horned entrance leading into a single burial chamber containing a confused mass of human bones, several sherds, and three flint flakes. The barrow contained a medial wall with offsets. Outside the dry stone wall revetment near the south west end were the remains of several (13?) crouched dolichocephalic skeletons. The mound had been disturbed in Roman times. |
