2500bc-14/1300bc | A bowl barrow with penannular ditch, a mound of chalk rubble and soil. There was a central cremation in a pit, some human bone and oak charcoal (disturbed). In the south east quadrant to the south of the central pit was a disturbed inhumation of a male c21 or less, scattered, and preceding the barrow mound. There were flints and animal bone in the disturbances. |
14/1300bc-8/700bc | High up in the ditch filling on the north west side, 1.3m back from the north end of the ditch was a Late Bronze Age biconical urn with a trace of a small organic deposit. |
