3500bc - 2500bc | Long cairn oriented NNW, possibly disturbed in the 18-19th century. Broken unburnt human skeletal material of 5 adult males, one old female and 2-3 children c1.25 and c4-5 was jammed between small blocks of stone. One male was separate from the rest and the children were at the feet of the male skeletons (?). Bones of red deer, ox, sheep and goat, and a little charcoal were found in association. |
