2500bc-14/1300bc | A bowl barrow with a primary pit dug into the chalk containing an interment of burnt bones. Above this was a secondary inhumation of an adult male on a wooden plank 0.9m long with some cremated bone here and there among the incomplete skeleton. About 0.6m above this was a collection of burnt human skeletal material and 7 small beads, 2 of jet, 5 of amber. |
