2500bc-14/1300bc A bowl barrow with a central circular cremation pit 0.6m wide x 0.6m deep containing a mass of charcoal and incinerated bones. A 0.3m thick layer of large flints covered the pit and two large inverted urns (enlarged food vessels) were set on this layer. They originally contained human bone but had been fragmented and were set higher in a central flint mound above the large flint layer.
