2500bc-14/1300bc | A bowl barrow comprising a small mound of nodular flints over a sickle shaped deposit of ashes. The excavator suggested that the body had been cremated there and the bones had been scraped out to deposit elsewhere, the pyre remains being covered by the flint mound. There were 45 flint flakes. |
