14/1300bc-8/700bc | A bowl barrow with a mound of earth, rubble and flints and a primary burial pit of oval shape filled with ashes, a few burnt bone fragments of a child and an adult, and sherds of a Late Bronze Age pot burnt after breaking. A secondary cremation had been placed half over solid chalk, half over the primary pit, cremated bones in another Late Bronze Age pot, probably soon after the first deposit. |
