14/1300bc-8/700bc A bowl barrow with a cremation pit just south east of centre containing a single adult cremation, charcoal fragments of ash tree, and above these sherds (HAR-10059) from a bucket urn broken before interment. The pit appears to show that some of the cremated material was removed and redeposited after some other activity, since a pink to orange-brown silt mixed with grey silt separates the bottom layer of cremated material from the next but one, some parts of the cremated body being lost in the meantime. Some burning took place within the pit.
