8/700bc-100bc | A barrow with a primary interment of a crouched male oriented NE/SW in a shaft 3m deep in the chalk. There was a secondary female inhumation, extended, oriented NE/SW, accompanied by a necklace of very many small glass beads and 12 amber beads, 2 rings (1 of tin, 1 of bronze), a bronze shoulder clip with iron tongue, and iron objects of uncertain nature because of corrosion. |
