14/1300bc-8/700bc A ditchless bowl barrow with a mound of white sand covered by an even black sand stratum layer under a hard gravel capping (the main barrow mass). There were two levels of urn deposits, one standing in the black sand layer and packed about with the gravel capping, and the other set in the gravel capping and largely denuded. The lower level held 18 urns all but two inverted and covering cremations, the two upright being empty. The gravel had been scorched by the hot deposited ashes. The urns were mostly in the SSW/ENE sector, with 2 at the north. The urns included predominantly bucket types, flower pot type, globular, and a squat barrel urn. The upper level was too destroyed to be of record.
