2500bc-14/1300bc A small bowl barrow (B) and an adjacent sub-circular enclosure (C) (a saucer barrow?) within a Bronze Age field system boundary. Probably the structures were set on old plough soil from Late Neolithic sherds found, and were roughly contemporary. In the base of the ditch of B in the south west quadrant were 4 tapering post holes.

There were 5 contemporary cremations in the two monuments.

No 1 was outside the B ditch to the south east and comprised a cremation with a barbed and tanged arrowhead.

No 2 was within the B berm south east of the mound, and comprised a cremation of a probable young male adult with a jet toggle and bronze awl.

No 3 was just west of the C centre, and comprised a cremation of an adult with amber and jet or shale beads, and buttons, covered by a stone cairn.

No 4 was just north east of the C centre, and comprised a cremation of an older female with a bronze dagger of Snowshill-Camerton type.

No 5 was further east of No 4 (3-5 were in a line), and comprised a cremation of an adult with a whetstone.

A small bronze knife dagger was found redeposited in a pit in B, and may have come from a disturbed primary deposit of a cremation in a biconical urn.
