2500bc-14/1300bc An apparently isolated pit dug into the chalk subsoil, containing an inverted Early Bronze Age bucket urn placed against the southern side. The cremated remains were of one individual, probably a child c2-5, and were partly embedded in a form of slag, possibly the remains of an object burnt with the body.
