2500bc-14/1300bc | An apparently isolated pit dug into the chalk subsoil, containing an inverted Early Bronze Age bucket urn placed against the southern side. The cremated remains were of one individual, probably a child c2-5, and were partly embedded in a form of slag, possibly the remains of an object burnt with the body. |
