Description: Very worn seated figure. No details of face remain. Slight points on the top of the head could indicate the base of head wings or wings on a petasos. Although worn it doesn't appear to have a lot of detail of musculature. The right foot is small and narrow. Left arm slightly out to side, right forearm rests on thigh and the hand holds a purse over the knee. Leans slightly to the right and the head is tilted to the right. Proportions are not bad, although the right leg is a little small. Seated Mercury is not very common in Britain.
