Description: Stands with left leg forward and slightly bent at knee. Right arm raised, presumably hand held club. Left arm out to side, hand clenched - ?to hold object. Lionskin is over the head as a hood which is tied at the front under the chin and the paws lie against his chest. The skin falls back to his shoulders then is swept across to the left, wound over the left forearm and falls to the rear. Incised grooves decorate the lionskin. On the hood the eyes and rather pointed ears are shown. Basic musculature shown, proportions not bad. Fairly finely featured face. Nice piece. Not expertly executed but a good and interesting attempt.
