Description | A worn and corroded solid copper alloy figurine probably representing Diana. She has one arm raised and the other resting on her hip. The hands are not clearly modelled. There are no visible facial features, although the hair is discernable at the back in the form, possibly, of a bun. The figure is wearing a garment gathered and 'bloused out' over a belt. The figure is broken off at the hem of the garment. The base garment has the scars where the two legs have sheered off, probably the weakest point of the figure (PAS). |
