2500bc-14/1300bc Oval barrow oriented SSE with flanking ditches dug to irregular profile. Crouched burial of young female, possibly intrusive (see RC below), in a rectangular grave south west of the centre of and under an oval burial mound of earth and chalk rubble core capped with flint nodules. There were no associated finds. A pit to the north was backfilled, and contained no artefacts. There were postholes in the north and south causeway. Scanty Neolithic pottery comprising primary plain bowl sherds from the bottom of ditch 3. Other ditch contents included groups of flint knapping debris and an antler pick.
