2500bc-14/1300bc In the small causewayed ring ditch F201 c25m to the south east of the Site 1047, the central grave F203 contained an adult male c20-25, on its left side, head to N, and crouched. Against the right pelvis lay a flint end scraper, a bone leather working tool and an antler spatula. A scatter of c10 waste flakes lay beyond the lower leg bones, and on one of the flakes rested a bronze awl. Against the right foot were 5 fine barbed and tanged arrow heads, probably the contents of a quiver laid by the side of the body. One more was found broken by an impact fracture and resting below the spine, and was probably the cause of death. Against the waist lay a lump of iron pyrites. Close by the head stood a long necked Beaker.
