14/1300bc-8/700bc A round barrow covering at its base six cinerary urns set in a straight line in an excavation (trench?) made in the chalk rubble below the natural level of the earth. The urns were inverted and covered with wood ashes, and large quantities of flints overlay the rubble in which they were set. The largest of the urns had shoulder lugs and contained a large number of burnt human bones believed to represent 2-3 human bodies. The next largest appears to have been a bucket urn. There were two other smaller versions of the first urn. No remains were reported from the urns barring the largest.
