2500bc-14/1300bc A chambered barrow or megalithic gallery grave oriented SW, containing a large biconical Middle Bronze Age urn associated with burnt human skeletal material from an adult mixed with the ashes of a peat fire, and burnt into the clay of the floor. The stratum of burnt material stretched from the chamber into the gallery. The burnt stones found in the chamber and other indications of great heat suggested that the cremation had taken place in the chamber itself.
