14/1300bc-8/700bc | A very large and coarse urn was buried in a hollow in the sand and protected by slabs of ironstone. It was inverted over a heap of burnt bones. In shape it appears very late, the neck contracted, the shoulder wide with 5 small knobs at intervals. |
