14/1300bc-8/700bc In Area G outside the Late Bronze Age enclosure (c1000-800 CalBC) were 7-8 burials at a depth of 0.45m. One burial comprised the partially calcined skeleton of a child c6 lying on a calcined sandstone saddle quern of a type found on the enclosure site, and under this was a molar of an ox and other animal bones. There were c7 cremations marked by ashes, calcined bones and flints, flint flakes and fragments of pottery. None of the cremations were urned. There is no security about the date of these burials except that of the child.
