100bc-AD43 | An oppidum probably founded cAD1-20/25. Human skull fragments were found on Site B, IAN, level 8, possibly of a male of light build c30-35. Staining on the bones suggested that bronze items had been interred with the body. The site was an extensive area over the stone platform and occupation areas adjacent to the gravel pit. |
