100bc-AD43 An extensive ditched settlement site partially excavated in 1921, and occupied during 1st Century BC to 1st Century AD.

Pit 2 contained at the top of a pit cut into its floor (2C) the skeleton of an adult male lying on the back with legs crouched to left, right hand on shoulder, left hand above lumbar region. The body was articulated but without the skull, and sherds surrounding the body were described as mid La Tene. It was associated with two chalk daub 'pillars'.

In a small circular pit-like excavation with a unique trapezoidal extension on the same axis as the skeleton, was buried an adult male c50 on the back, with legs tightly contracted above the body, oriented SSE, left arm lightly flexed across the body, right hand with arm extending to right foot. A shapeless piece of hand-made pottery accompanied the burial.
