100bc-AD43 A single isolated pit 1.2m in diameter x 0.9m deep, containing the burial of a male c7-8 lying in a smaller pit dug into its north side, filled to within 0.45m of its top at the time of burial. It was crouched on its left side, oriented NW, covered over with large flints, and the pit fill contained animal bones and sherds of La Tene I-II pottery as identified by the excavator but now lost and unillustrated.
