100bc-AD43 | A small settlement site. The skeleton of an adult female was lying tightly contracted near the floor of an Iron Age/Romano-British enclosure ditch extending north from ditch A. The body appeared to have been thrown unceremoniously into the ditch and was surrounded and buried by domestic rubbish including pottery dated to the period AD5-43. |
