8/700bc-100bc | Roman building incompletely excavated (owing to Pitt-Rivers' increasing infirmities), which was set on an Iron Age settlement site. In Pit 14 at the bottom there was a crouched burial in the Early Iron Age manner, head to NE, of a relatively tall individual, with no recorded accompanying grave goods, and lost if any. |
