100bc-AD43 | A cairn was found containing a crouched skeleton of an adult oriented SE, covered with blocks of limestone, c0.6m above the buried land surface. It was ascribed to the Iron Age because of its stratification and the adjacent Iron Age settlement site. The right arm was twisted awkwardly up behind the back. |
