2500bc-14/1300bc | A disturbed round barrow with a retaining stone wall, with on the west side a cist 0.6m x 0.6m without a cover stone, containing earth in which was a coarse rim sherd and some ashes. More pottery and ashes and a few bone fragments were found in the east of the barrow. On the south side was an unopened cist full of very fine mud in which was lying a Beaker like vessel thought to be of the Bronze Age. |
