100bc-AD43 | A shaft probably associated with the Iron Age settlement 300m away, measuring 10m deep x 7m across, and containing animal bones of horse, pig, cow, deer and birds. There were potsherds, an iron key, nails and a hoop, 2 carved bone sockets and three complete human skeletons side by side at the bottom. |
