3500bc - 2500bc | Two Neolithic shafts and 2 Neolithic pits. Pit 1 was dated by radiocarbon. It was cleared to natural gravel, and had filled naturally. Pit 2 had a similar filling to the upper level of Pit 1, of knapped flints. The two shafts were excavated to 2m and 1.2m and had been refilled with natural organic material.
