100bc-AD43 | A single grave placed on the natural limestone, enclosed by rough drystone walling 0.9m x 0.75m x c0.75m high, and originally covered with small flat slabs. The skeleton was crouched, head to SSW, and probably a female adult, unaccompanied by surviving grave goods, although there may have been traces of potsherds by the head. |
