100bc-AD43 | A round barrow in a square ditched and banked enclosure (of later date?), with a mound of rubble, gravel and earth. There was a central pit 0.9m long x 0.6m deep. It had been opened before 1880 when parts of human skeletons were found, but whether burnt or (assumed) unburnt is not known. This is not a very securely datable site. |
